Melissa Harrison is an English novelist, short story and nature writer from Surrey. Harrison studied English Literature at Oxford University and afterwards worked as a freelance column subeditor for Times, The Guardian and for some radio stations and television. Harrison is famous for her novels such as β€œClay”, β€œAt Hawthorn Time” as well as for her non-fiction books like β€œRain: Four Walks in English Weather”, β€œAll Among The Barley” and the short story β€œThe Black Dog”.
