Stephen James Ireland is an Irish professional footballer from Cork (South-west Ireland). He started his youth career playing for the “Cobh Ramblers F.C.” After 7 years he changed to the “Manchester City F.C. EDS and Academy” and spent another 4 years there before he started his senior career at the “Manchester City F.C.”. The next career stop was “Aston Villa F.C.” and since 2014 he has been playing as an attacking midfielder for the Premier League “Stoke City F.C.”. He also played for the Ireland national team in 2006 and 2007, where he scored five goals.
Apart from this, Stephen Ireland has a number of tattoos.
His most famous tattoo is a pair of angel wings on his back.
